Welcome to The Long Mynd Camera Club for our 2025 - 26 season.

Squarely in the heart of Shropshire Hills you will find our friendly and active photographic club.  By no means a backwater, we pride ourselves on achieving high standards, producing diverse and very capable work - evidenced on this site in our competition galleries.

We work hard to vary the nature of club photography by placing strong emphasis on active participation, not only in meetings, but in workshops and outdoor activity.  Additionally we encourage presentational contributions from members, whether it be a particular portfolio of work or area of interest. Of course, there continues to be a mix of competitions and guest  speakers:

 

We are always looking to welcome new members whatever their photographic experience.  Anyone new to photography has a chance to develop their skills and competences within a convivial and non-judgemental atmosphere.

We meet on alternate Wednesdays from September through May.  Our base is the very comfortable United Reformed Church Hall in Church Stretton - where we are fortunate to enjoy built in audio visual projection equipment.
